The <strong>AUTOSET<\/strong> system ensures that the trigger levels are set optimally for each combination of measurement function and input signal amplitude, provided rela\u00adtively normal signal waveforms are applied. If Manual Trigger has been selected before pressing the <strong>AUTOSET<\/strong> key, the system will make the necessary adjustments once (Auto Once) and then return to its inactive condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AUTOSET<\/strong> performs the following functions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Set automatic trigger levels<\/li><li>Switch attenuators to 1x<\/li><li>Turn on the display<\/li><li>Set Auto Trig Low Freq to<ul><li>100 Hz, if f<sub>in<\/sub> >100 Hz, or to<\/li><li>f<sub>in<\/sub>, if 10&lt;f<sub>in<\/sub>&lt;100 Hz, or to<\/li><li>10 Hz, if f<sub>in<\/sub> &lt;10 Hz<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A higher value means faster settling time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By depressing this key twice within two sec\u00adonds, you will enter the Preset mode, and a more extensive automatic setting will take place. In addition to the functions above, the following functions will be performed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Set <strong>Meas<\/strong> Time to <strong>200 ms<\/strong><\/li><li>Switch off <strong>Hold-Off<\/strong><\/li><li>Set <strong>HOLD\/RUN<\/strong> to <strong>RUN<\/strong><\/li><li>Switch off <strong>MATH\/LIM<\/strong><\/li><li>Switch off <strong>Analog<\/strong> and <strong>Digital Filters<\/strong><\/li><li>Set <strong>Timebase Ref<\/strong> to <strong>Auto<\/strong><\/li><li>Switch off <strong>Arming<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Default Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An even more comprehensive preset function can be performed by recalling the factory de\u00adfault settings.
